A local gem with outstanding food in an industrial chic space with friendly service. Highly recommended for those coming to or from the airport. We enjoyed a late lunch here while staying at a nearby airport hotel. There is a lovely nature park around the restaurant for a pre-or post-meal stroll. We started with the chicken soup which had a rich broth and was presented with a pouring of the broth. For mains we tried the chicken paprikash and the schnitzel. Paprikash was fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce very flavorful. A unique green Spätzle and a tangy-sweet crunchy cucumber salad side paired perfectly with the chicken. Just look at that presentation with foamed sour cream! The schnitzel was outstanding and extra crispy due to the unique addition of a panko crust. The creamy potato side salad was delicious. For dessert we had the Hungarian cottage cheese dumpling. It was a warm dumpling in a kind of whipped yoghurt and topped with a crunchy topping and fruit garnishes. The food here is prepared with great care and the service is very warm. It was one of the best places we ate during our trip to Hungary.

This place is beyond amazing! I am a very selective person when it comes to food. We have been in Budapest and Slovakia for 12 days and this was the best meal! I am not vegetarian but I chose the smoked tofu with sweet potato puree. Fabulous! Dessert was a cottage cheese dumpling… amazing! five stars to the chef! Quaint, local Hungarian restaurant, hidden a little in a neighborhood , but near the airport.
